Muslim behind bars…

Assalaamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

I hope you are well.

I was recently reflecting and thinking about how our dear brothers are going through such hardships within prisons and other evil establishments.

Our young and older brothers mainly, but our young and older sisters also, are imprisoned from America to Cuba, from Gaza to Britain, from Morocco to Jordan, having to withstand humiliation, evil practices of sexual, physical and mental abuse, torture illegal in many places, suffering and isolation, in some places.

However, even though these evil creatures administer these things for our brothers and sisters, such as the Israeli prime minister and the American government, their true faith in Allah(SWT) allows them to keep on going with a smile on their face!

I was watching a few YouTube videos today, one about our brother Amir Mukadith (aka Loon) and one about how a guard at the evil place of Guantanamo Bay accepted Islam after seeing the beautiful spirit of the detainees.

Both videos, and others, brought me to tears. The fact that we, as a ummah, are not doing nearly as much as we can for our brothers and sisters is horrific. Understandably, it’s not easy to help our brothers and sisters, at times, due to the corrupt ways of the Western world but we can make dua, we can find out about charities that are helping and donate as much as we can. We could also fundraise for the charities, if they are available. We could send numerous e-mails and letters to the sources of the evil, bombarding them with our voice. We could start petitions. We could lobby.
We should come together as an ummah against injustice, showing how close we are and allowing more love to flow within the ummah.

We need to be the change!

Just as we don’t follow society like sheep, and we instead lead, we also need to lead the way here, insha’Allah.

Let’s try and do our best to help our amazingly strong and brave brothers and sisters around the world!

Please make dua for all of the brothers and sisters who are imprisoned that they gain shifa, sabr, ease, a high level of imaan and ultimately Jannah tul Firdaus without any reckoning! May they also be granted shade on the Day of Judgement! Insha’Allah ameen.

The videos that I watched were:

Please watch both of the videos, insha’Allah! They were very interesting and eye-opening!

JazakAllahu khairan.

Assalaamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

A Modern Muslimah
