What will the people say?

Assalaamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

I hope you are well.

A funny but very true video I came across recently, called “What will the people say?” made by Baba Ali, is an accurate portrayal of the Asian culture’s way of thinking when it comes to their children.(The link is at the bottom of the post.)
More emphasis is placed on the view of insignificant people in the community rather than the “view” of Allah(SWT)!

In Asian cultures (definitely!), and perhaps in other cultures, the rules and customs of the culture are raised to a very high status that sometimes is even higher than Islam!! Authubillah(I seek refuge with Allah(SWT))! Sometimes, the customs of the culture and Islamic rulings and rituals are mixed up, creating a confusing, and totally haraam, religious culture mix!

Insha’Allah(SWT) may we all stick to the teachings of Islam strictly and Insha’Allah(SWT) may we never be of those who, knowingly or unknowingly, change the teachings of Islam! Ameen!

JazakAllahu khairan.

The ease of Islam upon Muslims

Assalaamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

I hope you are well.

Nay- whoever submits his whole self to Allah(SWT) and is a doer of good-he will get his reward with his Lord; in such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. [2:112]

Islam is a religion which changes your WHOLE life for the better, from the way that you act towards your parents to the way in which you walk down the street. This allows the Muslim or Muslimah to not waste a single moment of their life in trying to gain goodness for the Hereafter.

Alhumdulillah(All praise is due to Allah(SWT))!

I believe this is why Allah(SWT) tells us to submit ourselves wholly into the religion. The simplicity of Islam is also highlighted here. The fact that it is stated that simply entering into the religion fully and doing good are the criteria for success, show that attaining reward is not hard in Islam, as long as you follow the guidelines/rules. The last part of the verse tells the people that do submit their whole self to Allah(SWT) and do good have nothing to worry about, giving hope, ease and comfort to those who really strive and work hard to submit themselves fully.

May we all be of those who enter into Islam fully and may we all be admitted into Jannah tul Firdous! Insha’Allah(SWT) ameen!

JazakAllahu khairan.

The real life of a Muslim….

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

I hope you are well.

The life that a Muslim is instructed to live and the life that a Muslim ACTUALLY lives is quite different.
The way that we, as humans, fulfill Allah(SWT)’s command is not as it should be. We are all guilty of being less than perfect and we are all guilty, from time to time, of being lazy in our mission to please our Lord(SWT).
Our lives become completely dunya-centric(i.e. we become too focussed on what is going on in the temporary world) and devoid of the rememberance and fear of the Hereafter.
So let’s change it! Insha’Allah(SWT) from today until the day that we can no longer breathe anymore, let’s strive to gain the Love of Allah(SWT), because there is no love sweeter than Allah(SWT)’s Love! Let’s not make any more excuses, saying that we don’t have the right people around us or that we are easily led so it’s harder!

No!

We all have that inner strength within us; it’s just the case of releasing it and becoming our OWN role models, insha’Allah(SWT)!

JazakAllahu khairan.

Live your life!

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu,

I hope you are well.

I wanted to talk about motivation and the fact that you, as one person, can do so much to change or improve society and maybe even, the world!

I had always been motivated from a young age and would always aim for the stars, and nowhere below. However in the past few years, I have been less than motivated, due to people’s comments and digs.
I had forgotten my potential.

I was thinking about the effect of people’s comments to my motivation and just how powerful they can be, to change a person who would do extra work, just for the simple fact that I wanted to gain knowledge, into a person who can hardly bring herself to make a few amendments to an essay.

People in your life may attempt to push you down and make you feel insignificant. But don’t let them!

Remember that Allah(SWT) is testing you because, and only because, He(SWT) LOVES you!

How amazing!

So keep on pushing back harder because you are worth SO much more than any jealous or horrible person will ever say or think about you, because Allah(SWT) loves you! ๐Ÿ˜€

Just because you haven’t got a job or just because you’re not doing well in your studies, does not mean that you are a piece of rubbish.

The world is yours so take it by the horns and ride it! Make the most of what you have and strive to get what you haven’t got, like a job or a car or good grades!

Insha’Allah(SWT) you will get what you wanted and more, if it is good for you! Ameen.

You may be in one place but you NEVER have to stay there! Ignore the people and focus on ONLY pleasing Allah(SWT)! (It’s much easier!)

JazakAllahu khairan.
